Terrible customer service!!! Waited 40mins to get through! Extremely rude agent didn’t know the answer to my first question, so hangs up on me as I’m going on to my next question! I’m levied because there was absolutely no reason to hang up on me, I was very polite. It was a general question that he should of known the answer too!!! BETTER TRAINING for these employees on all levels especially on EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS REQUIRED!!!!Unfortunately, I didn’t get a name, not sure it would of made a difference, I don’t think anyone cares at the LTB given its a common occurrence reading the reviews way back!!!Shame on you and improve your services. I plan on escalating this!

The worst experience ever. After dealing with LTB and tribunals Ontario , rude, misleading answers , not responding to emails, they are so busy they can’t answer the phone, not extending there hours because of the Situation we are in. And this is tax payer funded? Absolute garbage service. I now pay DOUBLE in rent because of these two useless “services”. What’s less than one star?

After reading the reviews here, I was not expecting much when I made a call into customer service. I waited about 40 minutes for someone to pick up, which is pretty average for most places these days. I had them on speaker and did some chores while waiting.I was pleasantly surprised with the service I received. I came here immediately to leave a review for Barbara. She was direct and to the point in answering my inquiries and gave me peace of mind with the information she provided.We have to understand that these people are human beings and they are always being pushed to answer calls and get the client off the phone as quickly as possible. This is common practice for adherence. They are doing the best that they can with what they are given. Anyone who has worked in this field will empathize with that. As far as them being rude, I felt that she was assertive for sure, but I appreciated her honesty and straight approach.Thank you Barbara. I hope that Management sees this and compensates you for your time and attention. It’s tough to take calls nonstop, especially with customers who can be very distraught. Keep doing what you’re doing. I appreciate you.

My L5 application was refused and returned to me for no proper reason. I followed all the instructions on their package but their agent preferred not to listen and returned my application. I m going to file a complaint accordingly.

Just spoke with a customer service agent (conveniently she didn't give me her name) who was all full of attitude, rude and when I asked her why she got nasty and told me I'm yelling. I wasn't yelling. She used that as an excuse to hang up on me. Just because there is a policy in place. Doesn't give you the right to use it to your advantage - because you're in a job you hate. The tribunal is broken.

Very bad experience. The customer service is horrible. If you don’t like your job, please leave!Like other comments, I have waited long time at the first of my call just to get to press “1” for English, then waited another 38 mins to speak to a representative. Never mind her tone when she was talking to me, I haven’t finished my talking, she interrupted me and said “I’m just providing general information” and hanged up. Wait a minute, I was seeking general information here if you finished listening!I tried to call back, line is busy. Tried again, busy. Do they have service quality control?This is my first time contacting this government, and this is THE worst service I have ever received!

There is corruption within the system and abuse of power.I had a case were I was being ignored, my questions were answered with just because and the lawyer on the opposition even yelled at me and told me I was not allowed to ask questions which then followed by me not given the time to speak or ask questions.

You can call 20 times and each time you speak to a new person you’ll get a new solution to your problem because they don’t know what’s actually the law. They’ll also interrupt you every chance they get but if you calmly raise the volume of your voice because you’re being railroaded they’ll hang up on you. I’ve honestly never witnessed a more useless and incompetent group of people.
